The phrase in Sanskrit “Atithi Deva Bhawa “ which literally translates, as “Guests equal God” was written and handed down since times immemorial. In Nepal, the word hospitality is a quality characteristic of every Nepali man and woman.

Our Hospitality venture started since the year 1970 during the so-called Hippy Era in Nepal when we started with two modest eateries in the locality then called – The Freak Street near Kathmandu Durbar Square. We have never looked back since then.

Insight Nepal Tours and Travels was established about two decades ago and registered with the department of Tourism and Civil aviation, thus signifying that we are a legal organization of Nepal. We are also an active member of the two prestigious organizations of Nepal namely, NATTA (Nepal Association of Travel and Tour Agents- www.nata.org.np) and TAAN (Trekking Agent's Accociation of Nepal- www.taan.org.np). We have moved forward accumulating tremendous depth of experience, which has helped to shape the company to its present standard of excellence.

Most travels have written to us with the notion that Nepal is about adventure tourism only. Let me assure you that there is more to Nepal than just about mountains and trekking. It is indeed a trip to a natural world but we have some fantastic leisure holiday trips too. But then again If you are an outdoor type with a good sense of humor, a spirit of adventure, physically fit and mentally prepared to sacrifice the basic comforts you are used to back home for the sake of adventure and discovery, then you will have an experience of a life time with us.

Tourism has never been just a job for us. The love of the destinations we specialize in and the desire for adventure has made our team visit places that we send our clients to, so they can gather experience on all aspects of difficulties and enjoyment. All our tours and treks are well planned giving special emphasis to the safety of all clients and at the same time offering you a unique holiday. Most agree that it is in a true sense “ A visit to a different World”.
The only complaint we get is that it all ended too soon.

Since its inception we have managed to change with time, but have always remained keen in all aspects of the hospitality trade.

Our range of professional ventures under the leadership of the company Directors, Mr. Shree M. Singh and Mrs. Raj Laxmi Singh, now come under the brand name of Wonderland Group of Companies which also includes Three events Management companies namely The Star Venue the Wonderland and the Baithak Events , which cater to special local events. We have Three beautiful venues of our own, which can jointly cater to special events and dinner and dance parties for a group of up to 3000 people in a day. We employ a staff of 100 to 150 people thus also providing employment opportunities to many young Nepalese.
